- Location Scarsdale & Hudson Loft, NY
- Season Winter
- Mood Meaningful, Joyful, Modern
The best Bat Mitzvahs feel thoughtfully paced—moments to breathe, moments to celebrate, and enough space between locations for the day to unfold naturally.
Taylor’s celebration was exactly that: three “acts,” each with its own energy, each adding something different to the story. I loved photographing not only the big moments, but the transitions between them: the quiet in-between, the quick laughs with family, and the small details that make the day feel personal.
The Portraits
We began in a peaceful outdoor setting in Scarsdale. The goal was simple—natural expressions, honest moments, and images that felt like her.
The Temple
Inside the temple, everything becomes more focused—family gathering, final touches, and that quiet anticipation right before the ceremony begins.
“Some of the most meaningful moments happen just before the ceremony begins.”
The Celebration
Later, the day opened up again—this time into a modern celebration at Hudson Loft. The energy was completely different: bright, fun, and full of movement.
